travelZebra app for iPhone and iPad
TravelZebra provides three handy functions to take some of the hassle out of traveling: a reusable checklist, a luggage list with description and photos, and a simple scheduler to tell you what time you must depart to to arrive at your destination on time. All three functions optionally support iCloud to automatically share the data between all your iOS devices in near real time.
Checklist items can be assigned to one or more categories. You can filter to show the items with categories that are relevant for a particular trip. Just tap to check-off an item. Items can be automatically hidden as they are checked. When the trip is over you can easily clear all the checks at once. Items can be sorted by name, date, or check status.
The luggage list lets you record an entry with a photo and description of each piece of luggage you own. In the event a bag is lost or stolen you can choose one or more bags and e-mail the photos and descriptions to the appropriate party.
The “back into it” function allows you to determine the time you need to depart for your destination while allowing time to drive to the airport, return the rental car, etc. You can create and customize as many travel events as you wish. Each event can be assigned as many tasks as you wish. Each task has a duration. TravelZebra calculates the departure time based on your desired arrival time and the duration of each task. TravelZebra can highlight the tasks that are “passed due”.
Have an iPad and an iPhone? No problem. TravelZebra can automatically echo changes from one device to the other via iCloud in near real time. As you add items on your iPad, they will automatically appear on your iPhone and vice versa. Check an item on your iPhone and the matching item will be automatically checked on your iPad.
